Business Class

The onboard experience centers on the Airbus A220-300's five-abreast (2-3) cabin, where airBaltic blocks the middle seat in the front rows to create de facto business class space with extra legroom via seat pitch adjustments. Seats recline further than standard economy but do not convert to lie-flat, reflecting the airline's short-to-medium-haul route map across Europe, Scandinavia, and the CIS region. Complimentary meals and drinks are served on most flights, with catering reflecting standard European short-haul business fare — hot meals on longer sectors, snacks and beverages on shorter hops — rather than chef-branded menus. There is no dedicated business-class amenity kit or curated wine program typical of long-haul carriers. Service is attentive and efficient given the airline's small cabin crew-to-passenger ratios, and the A220's quieter cabin (thanks to its geared turbofan engines) is a genuine differentiator versus older narrow-body competitors. Entertainment is limited to personal devices, as the A220 fleet does not feature seatback screens.
